History:

"Duffy's Kennel", a PA licensed Boarding Facility, has been serving the public with quality service and modern facilities since 1972. Although our emphasis in our early years was the breeding of companion hunting / field trial Labrador Retrievers our focus at present is on providing the best boarding care for our canine clients.

Services Offered:

* Individual indoor kennels with carpeted bed and a double in/out door to access a 12' outdoor run

* Air Conditioned & heated

* Twice daily individual exercise

* Feed "Purina Dog Chow" or client can supply own food. See recommendations

* 24 hour Veterinary Service supplied by your Vet if possible or mine if yours is not available

Open Hours:

By appointment only. PHONE 570-672-3214. Regular appointment drop-off/pickup is from 9:00 AM -10:30 AM and 3:00 PM -4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Limited times on Saturday and Sunday. As I am the lone CPS**, I require all drop-off and pick-up by appointment. If an appointment at these times is not possible or convenient, I will try to accommodate as long as appointment times are adhered to.

No drop-off or pick-up on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.

Requirements:

* Current PA License and rabies tag attached to collar

* Up to date on yearly inoculations

* Appropriate size collar with a D ring attached

* Special food supplied by owner in a sturdy container

* On leash for delivery

* Appear healthy, clean and free of contagious skin disease

Personal Property:

*Boarding facility is not responsible for personal property not claimed at end of stay. Please, remember what toys, food, drugs, etc. that you brought for your boarder. What can be marked should be with the owners name or the boarders name

Fee Schedule & Payment:

* $13.00 per day , $26.00 minimum charge /day. Multiple dogs, $12.00 ea. per day, $24.00 minimum charge /day

* Cash accepted, check preferred

* If vacationing to Atlantic City or Las Vegas payment on delivery ( pre-paid)

* All others, COD

Exercise:

* Boarders are exercised a minimum twice daily after feeding and clean-up in the AM & PM and after drop-off and before pick-up. Nightly check at 10:00 PM when all are watered, given their treat, and if the weather is inclement, those that can't use the swing-out door to the run are let out to do their "thing" before being locked in for the night.

Recommendations:

* Supply food if on a special diet, e.g. Hi-Protein, Science Diet, etc.

* Bring an appropriate amt. of food in a sturdy container with owners name & dogs name on container.

* Intra-tract Kennel Cough vaccine if dog is easily stressed. Consult Vet

* No real bones or rawhide toys, allow nylabone

* Bed allowed but no blankets

Cancellation:

* Boarding facility must be notified in the event of cancellation

* Cancellation 7 days or more prior to date of reservation no penalty

* Cancellation 6 days or less or no-show without notification will be billed full charge of reservation

* Exceptions to the above include trip cancellation by carrier, sickness, death in the family.
